God is amazing!

wow wow wow there’s so much amazing things that has happened over the past couple weeks.

week 3 was filled with so much connecting with the team in a physically challenging way. The obvious highlight for us was hiking up Mount Yonah. We hiked up for a large part of the day and just enjoyed worshipping and cooking food and ultimately just enjoying one another.

We ended the week learning about spiritual warfare and highlighted how there can be demonic influences over our lives without us being conscious about it. Training camp has been so helpful with the different teachers that have been brought in throughout the weeks, they have mostly been compiled of different missionaries sharing their experiences over the years in ministry which as SO cool!

This past week the Lord directed me and my team back home to black mountain North Carolina. So cool to have God call me across the world but before I go he puts me back home for a week. Adventures in relief base is located right in ridgecrest and is working weekly with homeowners in western North Carolina who were affected during hurricane Helene.
Me and my team of 6 were able to help this lady Leanne in Fairview, her home was sitting in 4 feet of water and had to get rid of practically everything.
A year later after the hurricane we were doing the trim in one room and putting in kitchen cabinets as well as doing drywall and installing a bathroom vanity. Our main mission is not focused on the work itself but ministering to the homeowners by showing Christ outwardly which is why the world race has partnered with this ministry.

Thank God for my team for being amazing to love and the Lord is going to incredible things!

This week is a debrief week (so a pretty chill week) and then it’s off to Medellín Colombia. 🙂

One response to “Week 3 & 4!”

  1. Praise the Lord for every opportunity He gives to be ministers of reconciliation, the gospel and be able to practically and powerfully be His servant for the Kingdom of God. May the Lord guide and guard you and the team as you go in the name of Jesus to preach the gospel at home and halfway around the world! May the Holy Spirit speak loudly and lead clearly as you go!
Thanks for allowing me to be a part of the mission set before you as we here at home pray for you and the team!

Lord, grant to your servants to continue to speak your Word with all boldness.
    Acts 4:29

    Amen!
