Wow, I cannot believe how much time has already gone by in Vietnam I forgot even to blog! lol
But yes, ministry here for my team of guys has been really great. What I’ve really been enjoying recently is the kind of ministry we do is relationship oriented. Many times in the past, I’ve evangelized to people on the street and people I have just never even met until that moment. but it is illegal to do that here so we have to first start with multiple secular conversations. But what that does is build and reinforces a relationship with that person And it makes it so much more enjoyable to share the gospel with. Going out and offering a meal to people is so important to them and they love listening, especially to foreigners. We are able to share the gospel effectively because of this and it just starts with one or two people at a time. As I move forward in my life, I don’t see why I would change this kind of ministry anywhere I go in the world. I’m already so encouraged by the body of believers that work here in Danang city. People are so friendly and willing to have a conversation with you because this kind of culture is so community oriented. Sharing the gospel becomes not just a part of the mission that we are called to do, But rather it is an obligation we simply have as believers. And now that I have met so many different people from all kinds of different backgrounds around the globe already, I have learned that we are actually not that different at all.
moving forward now I have lots of opportunities, coming up to really press into relationships now that I have only four weeks left here. Vietnam has already made a very very meaningful impact on my life and it’s something I will carry with me for the rest of it. I do wish more places in the world were like this. People who Work to live. Not live to work. I am so grateful to be here right now and I just Ask for prayer for my squad and their hearts to continue moving forward. Thank you everyone for your support!
